Before joining Receptive Technologies I had two other web designers help me set up my site. Both sites were very limited in their capacity - no e-commerce facility, no affiliate programs, forms, automatic responses, newsletter or marketing campaigns, in fact it was just a place to host information about my service and products. The most frustrating part was that I had no control. I was totally reliant on someone else to fix, change or add to the website. The last site I could actually change what was on the pages through a basic program but it was very limited. In all it was a nightmare as sometimes a small change took weeks to be done and of course it wasn’t done for nothing. I had to pay for their delayed responses. Well not any more! I’m the one in control and what’s more I have on line support and tuition for all those things I still don’t know how to do. Brendan and his team continue to been very helpful and patient with my continual questions. I’m pleased to say the whole process has been very educational and rewarding. And what a fabulous site I have now! I was once totally illiterate in the area of web design and now I’m only slightly illiterate. :-) I’m one who likes to be in control which means I will never stop learning.
